TETH Partnership netball day

Saturday the 5th March 2017 saw a hugely successful start to our partnership with TETH who are based in Brent. TETH aim to improve community cohesion by delivering learning and development training workshops. The day was based around a Netball tournament which included teams from all over London.

Joining us for the day was Stonebridge Councillor, Zaffar Van Kalwala who was enjoying the sporting activities. The LEAP Enterprise women’s sports programme has recently included netball in its multi sports programmes as we aim to give our participants a wide variety of sporting opportunities.

Over 25 girls enjoyed a brilliant day at the pavilion with refreshments provided by the Foundation on a sunny afternoon. Trudy Campbell, the women’s sports coordinator was delighted at the support and turn out from the local community. The new women’s team also had a new kit supported by The LEAP Enterprise
